AgriGaia's underground irrigation system mimics human blood vessels, delivering water directly to plant roots and reducing waste. This method, used in farms across Southern and Eastern Taiwan, saves over 70% water compared to traditional methods and supports SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) while also impacting SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by maintaining agricultural productivity under fluctuating water conditions.

Q: Why does AgriGaia® engage in ESG?
A: Food is the foundation of daily life, and agriculture is the basis for safeguarding the health and safety of our food. Farmers who protect our health and well-being work incredibly hard and need the support of corporate power to initiate a flood of positive, sustainable impact. ESG is the language of corporate commitment to aiding sustainable development. Gaia is keenly aware of the need for a mediator in the communication between corporate management and the land. Thus, Gaia unhesitatingly takes on this critical translation role, enabling purpose-driven businesses and farmers to collaborate for mutual benefit and advance on the path to sustainability.
Q: AgriGaia® not only develops its own patented technologies but also supports farmers in transitioning. Why is that?
A: The urgency of climate change means no one can afford to be an outsider; we must all work together to stand a chance. Gaia assists farmers both domestically and internationally in transitioning to sustainable agriculture (including organic farming, conservation agriculture, and ecological farming) through technical guidance, seminars, and market alliance proposals. Furthermore, Gaia provides healthy foods and products to consumers, contributing to the well-being of the community at large.

A: Because our world is interconnected, and the impacts of climate change affect everyone globally, AgriGaia® actively participates in international exchanges, collaborating with sustainable agriculture organizations worldwide to share Taiwan's experiences and achievements. By the end of 2023, AgriGaia® had hosted over 500 international exchange participants and established collaborative relationships with sustainable agriculture organizations in more than 20 countries. By uniting international efforts, AgriGaia® works towards climate action, cooling the planet, and protecting biodiversity.
